This is the bow of a wrecked lumber sailing ship from the 1880's. I came back as the high tide was retreating to get the mirrored effect on the beach.

Sunset during a classic Pacific storm off the Sutro Baths.  The waves are partially obscuring a heart-shaped hole in Heart Rock.

Up at 4am.  Drive 1 hour, hike 45 minutes.  What are the odds of getting a sunrise like this?  The lights of San Francisco are shining under the bridge.
